Product information

Habito Outside 90 is a corner bead for 90-degree outside corners. Suitable for plaster, concrete, fabric and painted surfaces.

The corner bead is made of a very strong polymer core that is embedded in paper, making it strong and resistant to cracks and wear. The front and rear sides of the product have densely fibred special paper designed to provide the best adhesion to filler. The bead’s unique structure enables it to retain its form and protect corners against cracks. It protects corners and is neither loosened nor deformed by impact. It is also stable and is not affected by temperature or humidity variations.

In combination with the filler, the product produces the perfect outside corner and creates the best conditions for painting or wallpapering. The beads are transport-friendly as they are bendable.

Available in three lengths: 2.5 mm, 2.7 m, 3.0 m

Instructions

You need a putty knife, a joint filler adapted for tape and the Outside Roller tool.
1. Apply filler generously to the outside corner where the Outside 90 is to be mounted. Use a putty knife or the Hopper to apply the filler directly to the corner bead.
2. Place the corner bead onto the corner, making sure that it is tight against the ceiling angle. Press firmly into position using the putty knife. For the best results, use the Roller tool.
3. Apply a thin layer of filler (bed in the corner bead) using the putty knife. Allow to dry properly before next treatment.
4. Apply filler to achieve desired result.
5. Sand down and apply surface treatment.
