Plasterboard is today the dominant material for partitions in homes and commercial premises etc. For these surfaces, there are today elaborated recommendations that vary depending on the requirements placed on the final result.

Ensure before applying filler that the plasterboard has been properly mounted in accordance with valid standards, so that the boards are level with each other and edge-to-edge. Screw heads must not protrude or pierce the wallboard’s cardboard.

Priming in connection with joint filling consists of first embedding tape and then another two applications of filler. Walls with inclined incident lights are to be smoothened with a thin coat of filler.
