Tools & Equipment

You will need two spatula tools – one with a wider steel blade as your "spreader" -the other one to be your "spoon and tray" – to be able both to smooth the filler into position and to gather up the surplus material while you work. The broader spatula tool should be at least 15 cm wide. In addition, you will need some fine or medium-grain sandpaper. A long-handled sandpaper holder will make the job easier.

Make sure to avoid sanding dust, especially if you are using a sanding machine. Use a mask and protective goggles when airborne dust appears. (Most of our fillers are made of special rawmaterial which fall close to the surface and down to the floor). Products are water-soluble and contain no hazardous solvents. This means that you can clean your tools with water, and use a damp cloth to wipe up any spilled material.
