General instructions

Plasterboard joints

Bed the joint zone with filler and place a specific joint paper tape on top. Immediatly apply an additional thin layer of filler embedding the tape. When taped area has dried, apply a second thin layer on top of the joint. Apply the filler horizontally and then smooth it from bottom and up. The same applies to screw holes.

Smooth surfaces

General filling and smoothing on walls and ceilings with a wide spatula tool. Apply filler in thin layers for quick drying, less sanding and to achieve best result.

(Check whether the wall surface is even by directing light from top of the wall and moving it from side to side).

After final sanding

After the final sanding, brush or vacuum clean the walls and ceiling. Finally, wipe the surface down with a moist cloth before starting to paint. It is best to prime sand filler carefully with a roller, as paintbrushes can easily pick up small grains of sand that can affect the appearance of the painted surface.

General information

Substrate must be dry, firm and clean. Filler adheres and dries poorly when applied in thick layers. Multiple thin coats are strongly recommended for a better result. If neccessary sand to a smooth and even surface in between each layer. Clean from dust before applying next layer to avoid adherence problem. Always read the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
